At one or more of the 8 Kids Klub Centres
Job Summary:
To oversee the day-to-day running of a Kids
Klub Activity Centre. You must monitor staff,
activities and the pastoral side of the centre.
To deliver safe and enjoyable activity sessions
to Kids Klub participants;
Responsibilities
- To uphold and loyally represent decisions
and policies of the company
- To ensure a well documented paper trail
of each group
- Construct and maintain programmes for visiting
groups and take into account their specific
requests.
- To complete regular checks to ensure required
standards are being upheld.
- Regularly liaise with head office.
- Progress the training of staff under their
control and complete assessments of those
staff to ensure safety and quality standards.
- Make all staff and visitors aware of emergency
and fire procedures on arrival at their centre.
- To oversee the safety and well-being of
clients in all areas to make the necessary
‘day to day’ decisions for running
the centre.
- Focus staff on the enhancement of the enjoyment
of the children.
- Direct, motivate and control staff in accomplishing
their job descriptions.
- Supervising activities which, having completed
the In-House training for, you are able to
instruct.
- To follow all the statements in the Company’s
Health & Safety Policy Statement.
- To take out and return after use, correct
equipment for the activities being undertaken.
- To protect and conserve all properties
belonging to the Company.
- Assess customer requirements and act accordingly.
- To assist any person requiring medical
treatment, or seeking professional help.
- Ensure the arrival and departure of children
is professional, smoothly administered and
organised.
- To report any accident or near-miss occurrence.
Keep up to date Near Miss, Accident Reports
and such like and determine the action required
giving regard to the circumstances, environment,
Company Policy and National Governing Body
practice.
- To report faults on machinery, activity
equipment, fabric of the building and vehicles.
To assist in the checking and maintaining
of equipment according to in-house training.
- To observe safe working methods and contribute
to a harmonious working environment.
- Any additional duties that may be required
to maintain a quality service.
- To administer and monitor the petty cash
system.
- To liaise with parents of clients should
it be necessary during the child’s stay.
- To organise efficient duty rota’s.
- To ensure Staff are familiar with Emergency
procedures.
- To monitor all record books.
- To assist the Domestic Supervisor in the
fulfilment of their tasks.
- To take charge of staff problems, disciplinary
hearings, and anything which falls into the
category of employment, in liaison with the
Operations Manager and Directors.
- To monitor equipment stock levels and advise
the Operations Manager of required stock.
- To arrange excursions for visiting clients,
and confirm in advance that these bookings
are maintained.
- To report frequently to the Operations
Manager and Director of the Company about
the Centre and its operation.
