| The
Positions
Activity Instructor
Activity Instructors are responsible for the welfare of
the children during activities and free time. They have
to deliver safe and enjoyable activity sessions according
to training and assessment standards. It is a requirement
that all Instructors are aged 18 years old at the time of
starting work because this is a position of responsibility.
As part of the team, an Instructor has a vital impact on
the smooth running of the centre. It may be necessary to
help out with equipment maintenance, paperwork or other
jobs around the site.
No previous experience is required as we train all of our
staff to deliver top notch activity sessions and keep the
children occupied 24/7.
For anyone with specialist qualifications in Kayaking,
Life guarding, Arts and Crafts or Dance and Drama we may
have specialist opportunities for you. We may also be able
to help you to progress in your area of expertise or learn
something new.
Teacher of English to Speakers of other
Languages (TESOL)
ESOL Teachers are required to be fluent in English and
have suitable expertise to teach English to others. Qualified
Teacher Status (QTS) or a TESOL qualification is a must
and applicants need to be at least 18 years old by the time
they start work.
Teachers are responsible for the planning and delivery
of enjoyable English classes to students according to Kids
Klub specifications. It may be necessary to differentiate
class material to suit children of different ages or abilities,
plus there could be occasions when you don’t actually
teach in a classroom.
General Assistants
General Assistants work with Activity Instructors, Centre
Managers, ESOL Teachers and other specialist staff to help
and support them. You could have the responsibility of running
the tuck shop, setting up activity equipment or helping
out with the younger children. This is a great way to get
involved in the Kids Klub experience and try everything
out. You don’t even need to be aged 18 for this one.
Domestic Staff
In summer we require hardworking domestic staff to work
in the kitchen or to do housekeeping at our centres. You
can still enjoy the lively and exciting working environment
and contribute to life on site. There are residential and
non residential positions available. It is advisable that
domestic staff interested in Kitchen work hold a Basic Food
Hygiene Certificate. No other qualifications are necessary,
just a smiley face and a positive attitude to work.
