As is obvious from above, we reward loyalty, hard work
and commitment of staff with the financial backing and
support to achieve qualifications.
An average staff day would include activity sessions,
as well as pastoral care in between. Staff fill the
gaps where there are no activity sessions or meals with
fun games and activities, as well as ensuring the welfare
of the kids is well looked after.
The morning and afternoon generally consist of two or
three activity sessions and / or English as a Foreign
Language lessons for certain groups. The evening generally
consists of a large evening activity such as disco,
talent show, parties, bowling, etc.
Staff are placed on a rota each week to fulfil duty
requirements which involves making sure that the kids
are up for breakfast, checking them through at each
meal time and ensuring quiet and calm once they are
in bed. The duty staff are also on call over night in
case of problems.
